Royal Ontario Museum
Royal Ontario Museum is located in the heart of Toronto in one of the largest and most diverse areas in North America. Here in Toronto it is home to more than 100 cultures with the population of 4.7 million, with one quarter of Canada’s population located within 160 km of the city of Toronto.
Adults ( 18 to 64) are $22 for general admission, seniors (65+up) are $25, Students (15-17) is $25, child (4 to 14) are $15, infants (3 years old) free and then members are $6.
The Royal Ontario Museum is Canada’s largest museum of world culture and natural history. It carries more than six million items and over 40 galleries. It has many breath taking collections in departments such as dinosaurs, Eastern, African, Asian and European art and Canadian history. It also contains the world’s largest fossil collections from Burgess Shale with more than 150,000 specimens. The museum contains 34 subjects that the museum touches upon from Agriculture and Animals to Travel & Transportation and War and Conflict.
The ROM organized family fun activities giving families tours for the whole family to enjoy. It explores the top 10 family favourites in the museum providing tonnes of information and sightseeing excitement. The Saturday morning club is for kids to come to the museum and learn about the fascinating galleries. It’s for eight Saturdays as parents drop their children off to explore the museum. The ROM also offers programs over the March break for kids to come for the week to explore the museum and all its wonders.
